Adopt adorable pets from the 60 different types available!

Like any good virtual pet game, you’ll start off by adopting your very first virtual pet. There are up to 60 different types of cute pets for you to adopt. Although they are not customisable, you will still spend quite some time trying to choose and name your favourite pet. Don’t worry, you’ll get to adopt up to 5 pets!
Then, you are given a brief beginner’s walkthrough to learn about the amazing world of Subeta and how you can build a virtual life for yourself and your pets there. However, once you’re done and was granted the freedom of the city, you might want to train your pet up. There are 5 different stats that you can train – strength, defense, speed, intelligence and level. Most of the stats can be levelled up at the Training Center at Riverside or performing battle quests while intelligence can be increased by performing library quests. Your pet can also level up by taking up a job and performing it dutifully day after day. In this case, you will get both experience points and in-game money albeit at a slower rate. Who knows? Your pet might even get itself a job promotion!
Like any other games, there are two kinds of currencies in Subeta – sP which is the in-game version of money and CSC which will require real money to buy. You can easily earn plenty of sPs by just playing some games. Head on to the game room and enjoy the 50 different games available! The games are loosely categorised into 5 groups – arcade, collection, chance, mind and miscellaneous. You can play a mah-jong-like game called Caliph’s Tomb or play ‘catch’ in Burrero Basket Bonanza. There are even pet battles whereby your chosen pet is sent to fight the meanest monsters. You can even set your pet up for a friendly fight against another player’s pet. If you’re low on cash, try the game Random. It is the type of game where nobody loses – you will be able to get a free item or money every 3 hours! However, do note that although you are free to play as many times as you like, you will have to submit your score in order to earn sPs and you can submit up to 5 times per day for each game.
It is extremely easy to earn sPs in Subeta, so what can you do with all the cash that you now have? Shopping, of course! However, unlike other games, Subeta offers shopping with a twist – you can haggle with the shop owners instead of just giving him/her the exact amount for an item. Though, don’t try offering 1 sP for an item that is worth 700 sP, you won’t succeed that way. Try offering around 50 sP less than the price stated and you might just get away with it.
If you are business-minded, you might enjoy opening a shop of your own. Buy cheap items from other shops or rare items from the auction house and sell them at your shop at inflated prices. You might also be fortunate enough to come across several super rare items of your own. These usually can sell very well and if you don’t need them, why not just sell them?
Nonetheless, if you still need more cash, try complete quests in Subeta to earn more sPs! However, quests can be pretty tough especially when the quest item that you’re hunting for has been sold out and that the other player-owned shops offer the item at high prices.
